For general admission requirements, visit; UTME Requirements Direct Entry Requirements Eligibility for Pre-Admission Screening 2016/2017 Pre-Admission Screening Exercise is a mandatory requirement for both Direct Entry and UTME admission into the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB). Applications must be from suitably qualified candidates whose have chosen the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) as the Most Preferred Institution on the prescribed form obtainable for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). UTME: Pre-Admission Screening Exercise To be eligible for Pre-Admission Screening Exercise candidates must have sat for the 2016/2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored a minimum of 180 marks for the following programmes: Agricultural Economics and Farm Management, Agricultural Extension and Rural Development, Animal Nutrition, Animal Physiology, Animal Production and Health, Aquaculture and Fisheries Management, Animal Breeding and Genetics, Agricultural Administration, Crop Protection, Environmental Management and Toxicology, Forestry and Wildlife Management, Horticulture, Pasture and Range Management, Plant Breeding and Seed Technology, Plant Physiology and Crop Production, Soil Science and Land Management, Water Resources Management and Agro-meteorology Or a minimum of 200 marks for the following programmes: Biochemistry Biology Chemistry Microbiology Computer Science Mathematics Statistics Physics Food Science and Technology Home Science and Management Hospitality and Tourism Nutrition and Dietetics Agricultural Engineering Electrical and Electronics Engineering Mechanical Engineering Mechatronic Engineering Veterinary Medicine Accounting Business Administration Banking and Finance Entrepreneurial Studies NOTE: Candidate who chose Bio-Chemistry, Biology or Microbiology but scored between 180 and 199 may be considered for Agricultural programmes if they are interested. Direct Entry Pre-Admission Screening Exercise Direct Entry candidates, with minimum of Upper-Credit and its equivalent, who have also applied to JAMB for admission into the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) are invited to register online. Candidates should ensure that their Academic Transcripts are forwarded to the Registrar, FUNAAB not later than Monday, 1st August, 2016. Method of Application -Eligible candidates are to access the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta FUNAAB Admission Portal, click on "Apply for Admission" and enter their JAMB UTME or JAMB Direct Entry Registration Numbers to generate and print out their Application Invoice which states their Reference Number and other information on payment of a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand and Five Hundred Naira (N2,500.00) only, including REMITA fees. -Candidates should proceed to any Bank accepting REMITA payment (nationwide) or Online using debit card or via Internet Banking and make payment of the prescribed fee using the REMITA Reference Number. -After payment, candidates are to proceed to FUNAAB Admission Portal Portal and complete the e-application form as appropriate. -Candidates are required to correctly input their Bio-data, O’Level results, OND/HND/NCE/A-Level/IJMB/JUPEB results (where applicable) and upload a recent coloured passport photograph (not more than 6 months old). -On uploading of all required details, candidates are expected to first preview and confirm the entries before clicking on Submit on the acknowledgement page. -Candidates should thereafter print out the Application Form displaying their passport photograph. -Correction of wrongly entered data attracts a fee of One Thousand Naira (N1,000) only as penalty and can be effected online not later than the closing date of the application. The Federal College of Education, Okene in programme affiliation with the University of Ibadan invites interested qualified candidates for admission into the Degree Programme of the University for the 2015/2016 Academic session. 1.1 The programme would lead to the award of the Bachelor (B.A. Ed/B.Sc. Ed) Degrees in the following areas. 1. Education/Christian Religious Studies 2. Education/Islamic Studies 3. Education/English Language 4. Human Kinetics (Physical) & Health Education 5. The UTME subjects must be relevant to the choice of course of study. 2.1 Candidates must be holders of WASC, SSCE, GCE, NECO or equivalent with CREDIT passes in FIVE subjects at one sitting or in SIX subjects at two sittings including Mathematics, English Language and the teaching subjects. 2.2 Candidates for Direct Entry must be holders of Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in addition to 2.1 above and must have completed the 2015/2016 Direct Entry application forms. The NCE subjects should be relevant to the choice of course of study and candidates must have made at least nine grade points on the subjects. 2.3 Direct Entry candidates need not come for the post UTME screening examination, but must submit copies of the application print outs with other relevant credentials to the Directorate of Undergraduate Programme Federal College of Education, Okene before the expiration of the application date. 3.0 METHODS OF APPLICATION Interested applicants must pay application fee of N5000 and fill their forms online as follows: 3.1 Visit the College Web-portal (https://fceokene.waeup.org). 3.2 Click application and then select your category e.g. Direct Entry (DE) 2015/2016 or UTME 2015/2016. 3.3 Fill the form and make online payment of application form fee with ATM cards (Master or Verve). Note: (a) It is compulsory for all candidates to supply their JAMB Registration Numbers. (b) It is compulsory for all UTME candidates to indicate their UTME Subjects and Scores in their appropriate places.
